If I were gone
If I were gone, will you think of me.
Look to me, talk to me.
Existence merely breeds unsaid words,
In death only memories last.
Memories not forgotten how hard you try,
Finally putting down the torch,
After finding someone that treats you right.
My inability to do so, deserves me my position
And the sweet phrases you say, touch me deeply.
You have made the wise choice, much to my misery,
I cannot control your life, but watch you be happy.
