went to roslan's place for new year celebrations and food. he really put in a lot of effort, and prepared much food for all of us. disappointingly, majority of the people he invited didn't turn up. those who did: joey, hasan, ling & me. hasan brought his girl along. they seemed so loving. i stayed from afternoon till night, playing blackjack and dices with joey and roslan. yz also seemed to be in some sorta debt, so I lent him $313, which he said he would pay me back next month on pay day. roslan also needed some money for his wife's medical bill. If he really needs it I'll lend him as well.

I tried the vietnamese spring rolls made by his wife and it tasted fantastic. I also played around with his son while watching tv. cute little bundle of joy. tomorrow work starts. this was a really quick weekend. only sunday was counted. like I've mentioned before, next weekend will also be a single day weekend due to guard duty on sunday. my section field training will be from march 3rd to march 14. bad timing, really.
