Multiple outings

Today I went out twice. A feat in itself for me. First I followed Kenji to pump diesel somewhere in Tampines, and then had a bowl of abalone noodle (the abalone of course isn't real abalone) at the foodcourt nearby Z's place. We somewhat verbally decided to have a lunch in TP sometime soon. Monday perhaps.

Shortly after reaching home, YQ called me and we decided to meet and catch up. I haven't met him for ages. At first we decided on East Coast Park. Then I suggested changing to bugis because it was hard for me to get there (ECP), which YQ agreed to, but upon reminder of the parking concerns at bugis changed his mind. In the end we still went to ECP but he came to my place to pick me up since he was taking the SLE TPE route. Awesome. He sent me home after as well. Awesome x2. I'm really grateful since it's rather out of the way.

So we went to ECP Lagoon food center to have some food and we sat there chatting for quite some time. Always nice to catch up with an old friend. He's already begun planning for the 2nd part of adulthood which is getting a house, while I'm meekly still just beginning the first phase - job hunting. In some sense, I feel like a kid around him. But it's good to feel young and we're all only young once. Maybe that's why I like the Forever Young song by Alphaville. Classic song.
